It is a 3kW Sharp photovoltaic electrical grid-tied system.
The system incorporates eighteen Sharp 167 watt modules and is roof mounted on an existing south facing employee entrance. It covers the entire roof by design.
The inverter, protective circuit disconnects and output monitor are all mounted outside in an area available the public. Having the output monitor mounted in a weatherproof enclosure with proper signage allows visitors to the building and the public to view system output and CO2 reduction levels.
