What does a solar contractor do when he finds good
used solar energy systems? First, he put them on his own house. We
re-installed a 30 year old Grumman closed-loop solar hot water
system and it works fine, sharing many of the design features of new
flat panel systems. We also purchased and installed a used solar
electric system. The system works great and we still receive all of
the incentives! Have you wondered how long systems will last? We have working 30 year old solar electric panels on display. Additionally, our house is passive solar, and our projects building was re-built green for energy efficiency.
