Amazing, Spectacular, Fabulous – We did it!!

We cannot thank you enough for all your hard work!  Each and every one of you helped us reach and surpass our goal.  In our final week and a half we received 38,370!!!  For a total of 177,879 volunteer signatures!!!  It is amazing to see the collective effort that made I-937 a success.  With this overwhelming response we have sent a message, loud and clear, that the citizens of Washington State want clean and renewable energy.  This massive volunteer effort shows that individual people, just like you, can make a difference and ensure a clean energy future to Washington.  Thank you for being part of this tremendous effort!

The grassroots machine that has powered the campaign thus far is a force to be reckoned with this fall.  We need each and every one of you to stay involved through November to help us pass I-937 on election day.  We will be in touch over the summer months to let you know what you can do to educate voters all over the state about the benefits of clean and renewable energy.  We look forward to continuing to work with you and to a solid victory in November for CLEAN ENERGY!!

We cannot say it enough – THANK YOU so much to all our wonderful volunteers!  We have been truly inspired by each and every one of you!  Over 3,500 people have come together to support I-937 and make history for Washington State.  Thank you!

Celebrate Good Times – Come on!

Now that all of that hard work is behind us for the moment, it’s time to PARTY!!  Please join us to celebrate the extraordinary effort of YOU, all of the I-937 volunteers!  You are invited to join Congressman Jay Inslee and the I-937 staff to celebrate a successful signature gathering campaign.  We hope to see you there!  To RSVP please call us at 206-283-3335 or email kristin@yeson937.org.  Here are the details:

Over 330,000 Signatures Submitted to Olympia!

Yesterday in Olympia more than 75 volunteers and supporters gathered at the steps of the capitol to turn in signatures to the secretary of state’s office.  Among the speakers: Congressman Jay Inslee and our top two gatherers Sam Garst and Marian Wineman who noted, “We all have the ability to make a difference in the world for change.”  After an exciting press conference, a couple papers ran stories featuring our wonderful volunteers!  The hard work you’ve done is being recognized by all of Washington and it will make a difference for all the citizens of this state.
