Built Green IDEA HOME at Issaquah Highlands
The Masters Builders Association of King and Snohomish County
along with Puget Sound Energy and many other sponsors will have an open house
for the public to inspect their Built Green IDEA HOME every weekend from
February 14 through April 11, 2004 from 10:00 am till 5:00pm.
The IDEA HOME was designed to demonstrate that Built Green
features can be easily and economically incorporated into any new home. The
IDEA HOME was built using crews, vendors, products and systems that are
readily available and reasonably priced in the market place. The design and
plan were created to improve indoor air quality, lower energy bills and reduce
its impact on the planet. Several passive solar energy design features are
represented in its design. This open house will particular satisfy anyone
interested in seeing the results of the biggest sustainable living projects in
the region.
