The final agreement has been reached by the Department of Revenue and the utilities about the state incentive for producing green energy. Because of the work that still needed to be done it was agreed that there would be an extension of the deadline for submission of paperwork to the utilities. Customers who qualify (net metered) should be hearing from their utility with paperwork specific to the utility. If producers have not done so, they can take advantage of an extension of the date to sign up with the Department of Revenue.
